Been a bit of a bitch for this month not been a lot of sun and the cold keeps me in except for chores.

I'm indirectly effected because my wife suffers from SAD, we try to get away to someplace warm and sunny at the beginning and the end of the season. In between my wife visits the local tan salon and that helps, plus one of those special lights.

I am generally not much effected by it. The only time in my life that it seemed to get to me was when I was under a lot of unrelated personal stress, but that's not even a clear association, because I'm under a good deal of stress right now and I don't feel specifically oppressed by winter.
Many people around here whimper and whine and dread winter. I'm not in love with it, but I guess I've figured out that this, too, shall pass and hating on it won't help. Also, time (and with it, the seasons) seems to go faster the older I get. The seasons go by so fast I feel bitch-slapped by them almost.

I've heard of it refered to as Seasonal Anxiety Disorder or Cabin Fever. But yes, I hate winter. Most times I don't even want to go outside.

I am not sure I have felt it ever. I tend to be an outside guy, so perhaps I beat it that way.
