Question: can a health card be renewed before the expiration date? I really don't want to go in to a service canada office on my bday... I live in Ontario... thanks!

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Yes it can just like your drivers livence and plates you can go probably up to 60 to 90 days ahead of time at Service Ontario,,they do everything there and if you are getting licence and health done they only take one pic now which is the same for both of them

Yes it can. I renewed mine at Service Ontario a couple of months before expiry. Note that it is Service ONTARIO not Service Canada. Health care is provincially administered.

It was late when I made the post but I do know it is service ontario despite what my sleep med post would indicate otherwise about me
