What I have noticed more and more lately:
Ignorance is not unusual. It's the natural state of the human mind. There are many who will strive to defend its sanctity and then expect you to be impressed with their efforts.

It must be horrible to not want to engage in the world and learn what you can of it while you're here. I'm not the sharpest blade in the knife drawer, nor am I the most ambitious emmet in the colony, but I have an insatiable desire to acquire new knowledge on an ongoing basis. It has always seemed to be the natural state of my mind.
