Yesterday's garage sale trail resulted in my acquiring a copy of the 1989 Naxos Vivaldi 4 Seasons Wind Concerti CD. Jiri Stivin's rendition of RV443 Concerto in C Major for Flautino left me delighted:

I listened to a couple of others on YouTube but only the eclectic rendition by Maurice Steger and Capella Gabetta came any where close to giving me the same enjoyment.
I will also share this to @Rossy92's group for a Wednesday Classics offering.

I also enjoyed the CD of the 1986 Horowitz concert in Moscow that was filmed and broadcast around the world.

As one American correspondent wrote of the Russian man sitting head tilted back, eyes closed and a tear rolling down his cheek " That was the same tear rolling down my cheek!"
