Dandelion #1
I thought it appropriate to give a shout out to the man that, without a doubt is the reason I can’t help but hunt dandelions, even now.
Without his DNA coursing through my veins, I’d be a goner.
My dad is going to be 85 next month, and he has more spark and intelligent wit than anyone I know.
Without asserting as much, he pushes me to carry on and take notice of life’s magic.
I called him this morning to wish him a happy Father’s Day..
He answered the phone saying “I love you, I love you, I love you..”
He has assigned life’s meaning as the act of giving away his whole heart.
How could I not feel like the luckiest kid on planet earth?
I still wanna be just like him, dandelion # 1.
❤?? what a lovely human being. Seems the apple doesn't far fall from the tree.
Posted by FernappleI went for a walk in the woods today, and on a tiny oak tree, I found this wonderful cluster of, so called, Oak Apples.

Posted by sc62Day trip to the lake last weekend. I spent most of an afternoon next to this lily patch. It was such a nice, refreshing mini retreat.
