This was a tiny succulent a year ago. Someone walked by it’s mother plant and accideny broke it off, so I stuck it in with my jasmine and noticed today, that it’s and thriving.
Made me think and smile..
I too have been broken off from a life I once thrived in.
I don’t know where I’m planted now, but I find that being loving and kind, when I have more than enough reason to be a bitter, complaining and cynical woman,
has provided me some sort of beautiful soil from which to grow and thrive as much as I can under the circumstances.
It is difficult to see people who aren’t in this pain, be cruel to others, but I see it daily.
I want to know, to what end?
My pain is mine alone.
It is said that hurt people, hurt people.
They don’t have to. It is not an inevitable outcome of pain, that we in turn, hurt others.
