I agree, although it's mostly exhausting when I'm expected to maintain a lot of small talk, or feign interest in something I have no interest in. And, as @EricJones mentioned, I'm good with crowds that are large enough to disappear into.

I like large gatherings too-festivals, fairs and the like where there are so many people I can just disappear into the crowd.
