Being only a part time introvert, maybe I've landed here, in this group, to be converted to full time introvert. Maybe life would be simpler if I didn't have to put my over empathic self on the line for all the narcs to kick when I'm a little off my game. The truth is, though, that I do enjoy being loud and funny along with a crowd of people equally as often as I prefer solitude. I'm really too lazy right now to look up in the dictionary to find out if that actually places me firmly in the catrgory of ambivert. If that's the case, I have a question for the experts in here: "Would it be inviting disaster to have two ambiverts in an intimate relationship?"
I think it could work. Depends on the couple.
Personal experience, no it wouldn't be a disaster. My husband and I can both be loud and outgoing in certain situations but we both enjoy alone time too. We've been together for over 14 years, have never fought, and just get each other. I know that's not going to happen to everyone, unfortunately, but I'd say it's worth a shot.
Might be fun!
Sometimes it was over the moon fun, while others it was flying into the sun disaterous.
@jimithing I think the rule in successful relationships is... only one person gets to be crazy at a time.
@TheoryNumber3 Good rule, too bad people don't pay attention to it!
