Had a few of those this year .
I usually snip them off while the scapes are still tender and good to eat, these are some of the ones I missed out of the 600 bulbs I planted. I've got a lot of garlic braiding ahead of me.
Beautiful! But not a room where cats live. My girls would be eating the garlic. Tradeoffs ya'know.
No cats or dogs but plenty of wildlife on the outside. Deer, fox, fisher, racoons, squirrels, owls, eagles, herons, woodpeckers, etc.
