Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Where I live, in grocery stores, the prices are displayed both in metric and imperial units. It seems that people prefer to buy food by pounds instead of kilograms because it seems cheaper!

@Lizard_of_Ahaz It was so funny when they opened the weed stores in Quebec. They ran out of weed within a week! They had to wait several months until they could grow some more!
@QuidamOutrepont They don't run out down here but nobody carries the strain I use for my PTSD and my damned sister killed off my plants. The closest place to me I can get the seeds is Canada and I doubt USPS would take kindly to the seeds coming through the mail.
They have been using the wrong sales pitch is all just tell people if we converted to Metric they could legally drive 100 KPH on the freeways and the dumbass conservatives would rebel if you didn't convert the country to metric...

I grew up under the imperial measurement system and switched to metric when I was in my late teens . . . didn't hurt a bit lol

Canada, a land where snow is measured in centimetres and men in inches!
On American speedometers, there are both kilometers and miles. They can't look at the dial without figuring out which is shorter.
