I didn’t join Mensa in El Paso because 1) my mother went to a Mensa party and everyone there went to our UU church so I already knew them and 2) then years later friend said not to because the El Paso chapter (which she was a member) was mostly 40 year old losers (I was late 20’s but looked like my teens and had no shortage of dates)
When that friend heard I was moving to Dallas, she said the Dallas Mensa group was a good group and a bunch of fun (she was right).
