As far as metal goes for me I like Linkin Park, Disturbed, Amaranthe, Volbeat, Skillet, My Darkest Days to name a few. These are metal bands to me, but I know there is a lot more hardcore out there. These are bands with a heavy beat, but intelligent lyrics. I am also a huge alternative music.
