I had a couple of cousins come up from Texas and asked me what type of western music I liked. I told them that I only liked rockabilly. They didn't think that was real western music.
My mother loved the old my mule died and my wife ran off with the dog how I miss the dog western music and plaid it until I was so sick of it.

The pop music they are passing as country music these days mostly sucks. I miss the older country, not all of it but the singers I liked

I Like all kinds of music If I had to select western, It would be Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.. If you asked about country music, definitely Hank Williams. Rockabilly would be Jack Scott.
