The most jaw dropping one I ever heard, and it was still part of Catholic Cannon Law until the 1920s is that in order for a woman to conceive a child she MUST have an orgasm during sexual intercourse at the same time as her husband.
Therefore a man being an inconsiderate lover is a form of birth control
and
It is impossible for a child to be the result of rape because if the woman orgasmed she was not having sex against her will.
Hard to believe but this shit was taken seriously for hundreds of years.
