Considering how short the years are on Mercury, you'd think transits with that planet would be a lot more common.

Because of the different slight angles of the planets Mercury usually goes either above or below the sun when going past it on it's way from the evening to the morning sky.
Have to keep us updated as these dates come around. Some of us are old farts with short attention spans!
