Hi all! Just finished 2 light reads and thought I'd comment on them.

First Always Look On the Bright Side
A Sortabiography by Eric Idle
Quick, fun read with dozens of witty anecdotes. A lot of Britain references which are simply lost on an American reader and a chaotic timeline. Overall a fun read for a Python fan.

Thanks a Lot, Mr. Kibblewhite by Roger Daltrey
Another quick, fun read. Nice writing style, interesting tidbits about The Who over these many years. Recommended.

I'm on an autobiography kick obviously!
Thinking I'll borrow Michelle Obama's book next.

The 2 volume autobiography of Peter Cushing "An Autobiography" and "Past Forgetting" is a fascinating read, and for sheer surreal reality on the secretive life of a true British eccentric I recommend the biography of the Victorian science fiction and fantasy novelist Marie Correlli entitled "Now Barabbas Was a Rotter: The Extraordinary Life of Marie Corelli" by Brian Masters.

Posted by ReignmondI read this back in 2018. Absolutely loved it. It is an oddly small sized book, so it is good to travel with. [amazon.com]
