I spent this morning up at my parents' "farm", as I wanted to clean out the run-in side of the barn where my llamas, pigeons, and geese hang out. I was pleased to find 5 active pigeon nests with some nice looking babies! Three pairs, two singles, all but one look healthy and strong. Sadly, one nestling is obviously blind. I haven't decided what I'm going to do about that. For now, it's being well-fed by its parents (and the parents are well-fed by me), so it's not critical that I make any life-or-death decisions in the next few days. I'll see what my vets think next week.
