The 12 Days of Kit Mess
parody of “The Twelve Days of Christmas”
On the First day of Christmas my new cat gave to me
the angel from the Christmas tree.
On the Second day of Christmas my new cat gave to me
2 Christmas balls and the angel from the Christmas tree.
On the Third day of Christmas my new cat gave to me
3 fluffy bows, 2 Christmas balls and the angel from the Christmas tree.
Subsequent verses follow the same pattern, adding
one new surprise and repeating the earlier ones:
4 shredded wreaths
5 napkin rings
6 gifts unwrapping
7 chords a-clashing
8 cups a-falling
9 bites of turkey
10 tangled tinsels
11 lights exploding
12 stocking stuffers
