I've not done cross stitch in a long time. I remember being told to start in the middle of the background fabric and the middle of the pattern on some aspect of the image that you can easily transfer from pattern to background and go from there. This is a very beautiful piece!

Thank you, I will try that for next time since I always start with the outline and sometimes it gets off count.
