at home I can only fire earthenware clays, but at the community college it’s all stoneware ... and we can do reduction as well! this handbuilt box with lid, and small curved double vase, were both fired in reduction with this lovely very dark ...

I'm at the iron casting workshop all week. Today, I made the two-part sand mold with an internal support structure fabricated from welded rebar and " pipe. I'll melt out the wax tomorrow and cast it on Friday.
