It is the hike climb and paddle group but I had a bit of outdoor adventure where one does not expect to find it. I was helping a son find an apartment in Brooklyn, as in New York city. We had already walked 20 miles on Saturday when he got a call about another potential apartment a mile and a half away. I was really tired of walking, I happen to have my skateboard in the car, and it is all downhill to the apartment we want to view. So I got the skateboard and took to the streets. There were cars, bikes, pedestrians, manholes, double parked cars, stoplights, left turning cars all along one rush of a ride. I spent a few minutes absolutely in the zone just zipping in and out of obstacles. I was still smiling as the son eventually caught up. I am still smiling today as I write this.
