I have set myself the goal of completing the Triple Crown of American through-hiking. I am very eager to correspond with anyone who has hiked portions or all of the Pacific Crest Trail or the Continental Divide Trail. I have the Appalachian covered. Thanks!

Awesome. I’m heading to the cdt mid May to do the gila river valley through the south San Juan’s. Should be interesting with the amount of snow they have. Unfortunately thru hiking is not possible for me until I retire in 2023.

Like most people I've hiked sections of the PCT and AT but not the whole thing. The most difficult part of the AT runs through the Smoky Mountains National Park.

I have crossed sections of both but never actually hiked either. Good luck and have fun!

I grew up hiking in Colorado, and live just a couple miles west of the continental divide in Montana.

Posted by CallMeDaveI've never been a big wildflower person, but this is the season for it here in Appalachia. Other people can identify every variety. I'm not there yet.
