If you are interested in anything outdoors in Texas I can probably comment. I’ve literally paddled every river in all of Texas, many in other states too, and camped many places, hiked several. Granted come dead of summer I’ve never done much of this in Texas, too damned hot. I would say southern Utah is one of my favorite camping spots when it’s not too crowded, and Capital Reef is one of my favorite spots. So few go there, and if you love fruit, you’ll love capital reef np!!
