A tpm error (7) occurred attempting to read a pcr value
I've been annoyed with this error for a while now.
I've tried adding blacklist tpm_tis to the etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
I've tried FSCK'ing
I've tried looking at the block ids to make sure there's not some weird duplicate.
And I've disabled TPM in the BIOS.
But this error is just like a clingy ex who just won't go away. My functionality isn't affected. It boots, logs in, does what it needs to do. I just can't get rid of this.
It seems that error code 7 indicates that TMP is disabled. I also found this, which seems to indicate it's an old kernel bug.

Posted by FrayedBearAnyone using Android 12? Are you having problems with the Gmail app no longer working along with the PlayStore?
Posted by ScubaWagsWow, Windows 11 will have tiling windows. No one has ever done that before...
Posted by ScubaWagsThis made me giggle
Posted by OldMetalHeadThis is quite interesting. I knew Ubuntu would be high, but I honestly didn't expect it to be that high.
Posted by ScubaWagsApparently it's penguin awareness day today... I assume that must include Tux
