Time for something new!
So tomorrow I apply for an IT support center that has a comprehensive training program, great training pay, a fantastic benefits package (even for this day and time!), a work at home option...
The thing is I've never worked in such a capacity. As a self employed "webmaster" (yes, it was that long ago!) I had reference books to turn to...because they had yet to all be transcribed to the net. Still, it's clear that ability to quickly research a detailed topic is a prerequisite.
So having exhausted any possibilities of the few available entertainment support jobs I was thrilled to have heard back from this company within an hour of applying online Friday and being scheduled for an interview tomorrow.
Having been blissfully unemployed over a month now, with the bliss dissipating with available funds, its this or something more on the subsistence level I'd really rather not be doing.
Still, I'm going into this with great confidence. The basic interpersonal and computer skills I have down pat. Now just to wow them tomorrow!
And remember if you don't know something you can always google it
Congrats! I'm sure you'll wow their socks off
