Hi! I’m new here. I’m a quilter. However, I haven’t done any sewing since my hubby passed away. I want to get back into it, but can’t seem to bring myself to. Any suggestions?

Joining a quilting group, or a class might help you figure out where to begin. The social aspect might help inspire you to come up with a new project. Or a class might help give you direction for your first project. JoAnn or your local fabric store may have quilting classes, and/or a bulletin board with information on local groups.

I like your quilts very much, especially the third one with the detailed quilting! I am sorry for your loss - I know from experience it takes a long time to get used to a new way of life.
A suggestion was made on this group that small, lap quilts are a good way to try new ideas. Have you got a stash with some favourite pieces you could use, or is it maybe time to go out and give yourself a treat at a fabric shop? Good to see you here, anyway.
