Do you keep bags of completed pieces waiting for the day you feel inspired to sew them together?

I have baggies full of parts for bird stuffies. Now, I'm starting bags of small Hallowe'en amigurumis. The pieces are sorted and labelled.

Most definitely - I've gone through two year long afghan square crochet alongs in the last 4 years, and the two blankets still aren't assembled. And that's just the beginning.

I have multiple tote bags of knitting and crochet projects all set to go. I also cut out all of the pieces for various projects and put them in ziplock bags along with zippers, buttons, etc. I like to be prepared to sew when I have free time.

I am not too bad about finishing projects, but I still have a box of UFOs - mainly tapestries and small patchwork projects which turned out not to be as exciting as they seemed at first, or which are so big and require so many repetitions that I get fed up. Those, I usually end up making something small with. Knitted or crocheted creatures with small parts, I just hate sewing up so they quite often get left until I am forced to finish them. You have reminded me, though, I want to make some knitted Xmas tree decorations so that wil be a new project.
