Who else makes it through one sock, mitten, wrist warmer etc, and then never finishes the other? As soon as I'm done one, I set it down, and never finish the second. I have so many sock, wrist warmer and Thrummed mittens who will never have a mate that they now have their own WIP basket. Most of the time it happens because I have taught that project for a class, and then have had to move on to another for another class, then forget all about it, lol. #knittingproblems #onesockclub

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I used to be like that - I was really enthusiastic about a new technique and rushed into making something and either it turned out not to be as interesting as I thought or I did one half and then moved on, like you. That is happening less now - I make myself finish things. But i still have a drawer full of nedlework project s that my hands are no longer good enough to do comfortably. I agree with sunsetworshiper, though - I would rather wear odd socks, at least around the house, than waste all that effort. I really like those examples - especially the spotty one.

I am a one sock wonder...ha ha...I often thought I should find another knitter and we agree to make the other for each other...lately, I just wear two different socks or fingerless gloves..mix and match is trendy, so I tell myself
