@WayneDalton, direct is one thing and not always the best way to approach a situation. It sounds like you want a woman to accept you no matter what. However, you don't expect them to be put off by your attitude. Personally I believe there's a fine line between being honest and being an asshole. Also there are times when you shouldn't make a comment at all.

@RPardoe, it was April 5, 2015 (Easter.) We had lots of family over, but I was sleeping because I worked nights. One person thought a gun was unloaded and thought they were dry cycling...whoops! It went through my bedroom wall and into my abdomen. I woke up to a crazy intense pain, but I don't remember hearing anything so I have no idea what happened. I thought my appendix had burst or something. The person who fired the shot came in apologizing. I still didn't know what happened. I couldn't figure out why he was apologizing. Fast forward... My dad saw the hole in my jeans. I got up to get a towel to press on the wound. I know...you're not supposed to move...etc. Then I asked for something to drink. 911 was called. I was taken by ambulance. They examined me and decided to do exploratory surgery to make sure no fragments were too close to my colon. All in all it was basically a deep flesh wound. It had to be cleaned and repacked daily until it healed

I just had a cool thing happen.
