I grew up in a church community, fortunately, it was non-evangelical, just your typical Congregational Church. I never really believed in religion, seeing it as an allegorical attempt to explain life, death and the mysteries they both hold. So, as an atheist/ secular humanist, I do believe in community, love, grace (something we give to others), forgiveness, generosity and peace.
