"Religion isn't really my thing." "But you're spiritual, right?" Spare me.

I'm no dry empiricist either. I get that "holy books" have a cultural and historical significance. And that fiction (preferably properly labelled) can inspire wonderful and horrible behaviour. And that fiction can offer both useful and dangerous viewpoints on human psychology. I get that there is room for allegory and imagination in life. But elevating certain works of supernatural fiction into being exclusive blueprints for living and understanding the universe is nonsensical.
On an unrelated point, I couldn't date an anti choicer or an anti vaxxer.
