I'm separated with intent to divorce, looking mostly for good company and something low pressure right now. Also easing back into a real life as my kids get older. I miss dancing, spontaneous quests around town, biking, camping, hiking, rock climbing, and most of all, traveling.
I once pursued an ecology research career, but left research due to conflict between work hours and the time I wanted to be with my babies. I am currently passionate about the human ecosystem (within our bodies), and the ecology of child development. I am now a college biology instructor, and starting a pre- and perinatal consulting business. I'm passionate about improving the health of the next generation through creating a more holistic awareness of child health and development, which involves educating parents about how emotional and physical wellbeing are connected, how the prenatal period affects postpartum health for mom and baby, microbiome awareness, and more. I help parents integrate research into their lives to improve their experience of parenting, and of child health.
