Marriage and divorce
War and peace
Financers and bankers
Waiting to fleece

Jobs and homes gone
Futures destroyed
Like soldiers in boxes
We are here to be toyed

Political brutality
To keep us in line
Austerity forced on us
Like treading a mine

Our futures blown to pieces
Politicians don’t care
For they have a future
They don’t have to share

They have security
Pensions galore
Big houses and finances
And we are their whore

But we don’t get paid for our troubles
Their future is over our bones
Let’s unbalance our politicians
We are their stepping stones
