Bloody brilliant and inventive were those ancient peoples, they built structures that have lasted for thousands of years using little more than brains and brawn yet the structures we build today with all of engineering knowhow and equipment can't even last half as long.

Interesting article. It always gets me when people suggest that the early Egyptians lacked the technology to build the pyramids on their own. The
techniques employed were sophisticated for the times, but not beyond their technological ability.
People are so ready to dismiss the ability of the human mind at solving difficult problems.
