Ive always loved them although my grandmother called them yams so I did as well until I started working in grocery.
But anyway. Side note.
Last year I went on a camping trip and took a crock pot and both white and sweet potatoes. Due to time constraints, I put both potatoes in the crock and let them cook skins on all day.
Holy #%##% shit were those things tasty. I let them cool and we were eating them like apples
