Was Europe the Cradle of Humanity? Maybe but there is a lot more data that will have to be provided before there is a shift from current Africa based theories of where humans came from.

This report was issued at the very beginning of the programs to reduce the destruction to our environment. Zero Population Growth was one of the first US organizations to sound the alarm but in 2000 they (and a part of the Sierra Club) sold out to some industrialists for $100 million (PBS "To the Contrary" with Bonnie Erbe. Population has slowed somewhat but not enough but, unfortunately, those countries with little or even negative population growth are more than making up for this with increasing immigration. Again, industry is playing on people's sense of emotion in oder to gain a source of cheap and controllable labor. In the end everyone, citizens and immigrants will pay the price. Things might be getting better if not for the present US industry/jobs oriented administration and the increase in countries adopting a more conservative governments.

Posted by qpr81Trajan's column in Rome. Shame they put a pope on top of it. Even though this is a monument raised over a genocide it's still something worth seeing.
