I also have a brass bed. I love it. I have no idea the year it is from. I haven't studied. I just love brass. on the back of the bed the down brass has china or pottery glass bulbs. I read an article years ago that said back in the days of prostitution, all the madame's had ceramic or china hand painted smalls globes like mine. The article said the more beautiful they were hand painted was a status symbol. Sadly I guess, Mine are not painted. lmao.
