I'm wondering if there are any meetup groups for adults on the spectrum that any of you know about. OR, maybe some could be started. My young adult son was attending one in the DC area, and then it disbanded. It was a great opportunity to meet and hang out with like minded folks, and I'm thinking one with an agnostic base would be even BETTER for him! I've tried getting him on here, but he's just not into this type thing. He has a facebook account but hates it and almost never goes on it unless it's to pm someone.
Have you thought about starting a group?
Well, we are not in the same area, he's in DC where he attends university. I do help with a support group in our town down south, but our participation is very low even for that. I'd love to help start one in our area, but it wouldn't help him.

Posted by altschmerzI was diagnosed with autism by a psychologist after a day of testing, but my current therapist keeps saying she doesn't think I have it (or I'm a "little bit" autistic).
