Join the Atheists Community of San Jose. They are a large, and very active, group that does a lot of philanthropic activities, as well as social events, and host speakers. A lot of very nice, anbd like-minded people there.

Been in the Bay Area almost 8 years and haven’t made any lasting friendships. Oh well.

Meeting people is always difficult, mostly because find ing someone who "fits" you is pretty much a crapshoot. So anyone thinking pizza during the next two weeks, sign on. I'm new at this, so look me up.

What part of the Bay do you live in?

It took me awhile to make friends there too, but I started hanging out at Behans in Burlingame and eventually the predominantly Irish crowd started to think that this full blooded kraut was pretty ok.
