Finally got around to reading "The Godfather". I still haven't seen the movies. However, the book was really good. I recommend it highly.

Loved the book. It kinda ruined the movie for me when I first saw it because I kept noticing whole fascinating chapters that were left out.

The book is much better than the movies...but I also recommend the movies...I have only seen the first one...someday I will binge watch them all!

I think usually the books provide more background and give more information than the movie versions of books.

@snytiger6 Plus, the imagination is engaged instead of buying the visuals provided in movies...I prefer that much more than seeing Marlon Brando forever as the godfather...ha ha ha
