@greenatheist No the Cone sisters collected art and had the largest Matisse collection in the U.S. The picture on the front of the book is Matisse's pink nude. Matisse was the leader of the Fauvists (wild beasts) named that because of the colors they used. Dali came a little later, near the end of cubism. Dali was inspired by the works of Picasso.
@AmelieMatisse Dali was obsessed with painting his brides in that Matisse form...I know nothing about collecting I only remember what I see
