Anyone here like Joseph Heller? You may be familiar with Catch-22, but have you read his other books, especially Something Happened? If anyone has read it, let me know. I would like to discuss it.

I have read Catch-22 and liked it very much. The only other book I have read of his was a very funny jewish political satire called (I think) 'Good as Gold'.

Yes, it was excellent. Heller is one of my favorite authors.

I wasn't too thrilled with "Catch 22", but since you posted about him, i did look at some of his other books. I addede "Something Happened" and "God Knows" to my reading list.

I think that God Knows is his weakest. Good as Gold is better.

Hadn't even heard of that one .

It is a brilliant book. While Catch-22 is a book about men and war, Something Happened is a book about relationships.
