Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I am visiting Victoria for 3 weeks and we had snow out here last week,took ferry over to Van on Friday,resonable amount of snow there,came back to Victoria this afternoon at 9 degrees and snow all gone,Live in Trenton Ontario and we have been getting lots of snow wind and cold there over the last few days,,ave seen the pics of NL those poor people,hope they get all the help they need as they are so generous to everyone else

@Wangobango3 Oh it's been terrible at the coast. We don't get so bad as we're usually colder so our dryer snow & ice etc., are easier to navigate with clearing, sanding. We're in the middle of the province so completely away from the coastal influence. We've been in the -30'sC. & we haven't had these cold temps for many years, so we're no longer accustomed. We're older now, & going out in it is not happening. We drive mobility scooters, & will only go out on them in -10C or less.
Good thing you don't have Mel Lastman as mayor, he would have called in the army long ago.

@ToolGuy Born at Toronto East General Hospital, my mother at Toronto General Hospital, my grandfather in the family home in Toronto, his parent before that and their parents before that; so please spare me the drama about Toronto sensibilities as my people built that town into a city. Yes we have had blizzards in Toronto before, yes even hurricanes have roared through Hogtown but don't start to think that makes it the center of the universe, only a newbie would believe that hogwash.
