If you ask people what professions are considered the most dishonest, underhanded, worthless POS...you will typically hear lawyers, politicians, and used car salesmen. Judges are nothing more than a combination of a lawyer and politician, so two out of three. Yet people seem to think they are 'honorable'?!?! Please....

Not that it wasn't deserved.....but no coincidence over the timing. The Republican governor will be able to appoint all his like minded cronies to those seats just in time for a little redistricting/gerrymandering before the next round of elections. imagine that.

Yep, for fraud/corruption by spending about half a million on office space.

Pretty damn scary. What has happen to honesty and integrity in American politics and justice?

Was there ever in the past more honesty and integrity in American politics and justice than now?

There was never, after all. a “garden of eden”.

@yvilletom I do think there were more truly honest people 60-70 years ago. There have always been snake oil salesmen and scam artists but most - 70+ percent - people were honest tax paying citizens. I think we are running 50-50 and since trump has made lying and conning okay we now have fewer truly honest people. 😟

@silverotter11
Previous presidents have lied and conned more carefully than Trump, silver, but aside from you and me I just have to see some evidence for there being more truly honest people 60-70 years ago.

@yvilletom This comes from something I read maybe 5 years ago. Until 2015 I had dial-up and did very little on the internet. Once I moved out of the woods (literally, 10 acres of night sky and solitude) to this apartment complex in Ellensburg, WA and got better internet service I went nuts with articles and things of interest but rarely bookmarked any thing. I know from history and the political cartoons of the past politicians have always been crooked but social media and instant response did not exist in the past so the ugly reality was not in your face so much.
