Young Karl Marx on dvd. A film about ideas as much as it is about political activism, which has to be tricky, but they pulled it off. I gather it's pretty accurate historically, which is good to know. That is, it's good to know that Marx and Engels were regular guys, amused and amusing at times, who did regular young-guy things in between writing, trying to reach the workers, and maneuvering in the left-wing circles of Europe ca. 1845. Maybe you have to be young to convey ideas verbally without boring anybody, even if when older you might have a better grasp of them. Unless you're Trotsky or Hitchens.

It's really a great movie. Look up other good stuff by the director, Raul Peck.
