are they blooming everywhere now? in alabama they were like wildflowers

btroje Level 9 Mar 5, 2018

plenty in tn. the hillsides are showing color in the trees budding and blooming.

@hankster i miss the redbuds. Are there huge wisteria vines in the woods there? In alabama they would snake to the tops of the trees and impart a purple haze to the tender spring woods

@btroje the Red Buds are just beginning to really put on their show. they are my favorite of the trees in the spring, later the lilac bush that grows at the corner of the porch where my great-grandmother planted it. if there ever was a Heavenly smell that is it. yes, wisteria and trumpet vines will be around showing off too.

@hankster i miss these things

well, at least for a while they will be here when you are ready to see them again. but then you would miss the animals at home. sometimes the world's too big, sometimes it's not big enough.

Posted by FernappleI went for a walk in the woods today, and on a tiny oak tree, I found this wonderful cluster of, so called, Oak Apples.

Posted by sc62Day trip to the lake last weekend. I spent most of an afternoon next to this lily patch. It was such a nice, refreshing mini retreat.
