I've just been watching Billy Connolly and his "Tracks across America" movie - three hours to travel 6000 miles round America. Sadly age and Parkinson's are taking their toll. An interesting rail trip from Chicago, through Seattle, El Paso, Baltimore up to NY.

Billy used to visit my local folk club as much as anything perfecting his comedy routines as performing folk music on his banjo.
The movie includes an interesting zydeco set from Louisiana.

Posted by sc62Day trip to the lake last weekend. I spent most of an afternoon next to this lily patch. It was such a nice, refreshing mini retreat.
