Can it be possible that we have missed the point??
The religious excitement that started the Mormon mess was wrong so a bunch of experts tried to fix it but the God was an imaginary thing. All that was wanted was utopia with the god-code of conduct to govern there lives with. For example Moroni is a More-on-it with a thumb in the cheek. And Mahonri Moriancumer is My-Honoring-Morean-Comer with a thumb in the cheek. Morean is a word in the dictionary for societies set up for utopia written by Thomas More in the 1500’s.
