Now I’m put on defensive. Eye roll is rude. Me:”Why?”
Them: “You’re just quiet, that’s all.”
Me, weak smile: “Yes, I’m okay. Thank you for asking. How are you?
Them: “Oh. Okay. I just thought you were kind of quiet , that’s all”
Me: “Thanks” Inner voice: I can be both quiet and okay.
