Why are my dreams always so full of people? I'm an introvert, fercrissake, and in every dream I have I'm in some public place where there are people everywhere. Can't I even get away from them in my sleep?
Anybody else have this problem?

Or maybe it's about wanting to want to be... cause I really don't want to be around people but I kinda wish I did.
Lots of people in my dreams also. There was even a bear last night

Even introverts like a little human contact. I am still working, so do get to be around, 5-10 people in any given work day (only 3 days a week for now), and, my roommate. But that seems to give me just enough human contact that it doesn't bother me. Although, all of my co-workers are male, so seeing live women is kinda uncommon these days. LOL
Roommate rarely sees anyone but me, and we don't spend an awful lot of time around each other, but he seems to be OK with that.

"No seeing LIVE women these days"? Are you seeing any DEAD women? (sorry, the phrasing caught my eye and made me wonder about this. I'd put in a winking-eye emoji but I don't know how to do that on this site.)
Not lots of people for me. Just dreams that do not make sense. Glad I do not remember most of them!

I have a theory that dreams are just your brain defragging
Perhaps it's like others having dreams about appearing nude in public , or some other uncomfortable situation ?

Yea, nude in a large group of people... a major nightmare situation for almost any introvert (is there any such thing as an exhibitionist introvert?).

@echosam I think exhibitionist introverts exist in apartments/homes with lots of mirrors.
